‘Beauty on the Beast’ season 4, episode 5 preview: The story goes all ‘It’s a Wonderful Life’
Tonight on “Beauty and the Beast,” we had an episode that brought us a little more information about the threat facing Cat and Vincent, but to go along with that, also a little bit of intel regarding just how they could have kids in the future. While Cat wasn’t pregnant, she did realize more than ever that she wants to get to that place.
Moving into next week, it looks like we are asking a completely different question altogether: What would Cat’s life look like if he wasn’t around? Would she already have kids, or be anywhere near as stressed out? It’s an interesting question for next week’s “It’s a Wonderful Beast,” which is an hour we imagine never would have been created had we never gotten this far into the series’ run. Sometimes, making it this far on the air can allow for a little bit more flexibility than you would have otherwise.
The synopsis below gives you a little more news as to what to expect:
“Vincent (Jay Ryan) and Cat (Kristin Kreuk) realize they have to go into hiding now that someone is out to kill Vincent. Vincent wonders if Cat would have been better off without him and gets a glimpse into exactly what her life could have been.”
Hopefully, this story does still move along the overall arc this season, mostly because of the fact that it needs a little bit more momentum right now, and potentially also a more compelling villain to go along with it.
