‘Doctor Who’ season 10: Pearl Mackie gives first look at set
For everyone out there who loves “Doctor Who,” it must be a thrill to know that the show is finally starting to film the new season!
In the video below, you specifically get a look behind the scenes from new Companion Pearl Mackie, who gives you a sense as to some of what the production is doing. Apparently, we’re going to be getting some sort of outdoor winter scene, which is made all the more complicated by the fact that it is June, and she is clearly dressed for a colder climate. Mackie seems very energetic, and thrilled to be a part of the show in the role of Bill.
Hopefully, the BBC series is going to continue to offer up some further teases of life behind the scenes at the show, given that it could be a while before we end up actually seeing season 10 proper. The next installment to air will be the Christmas Special, and to date the only thing confirmed about season 10, other than the small casting update here or there, is that it is going to premiere in 2017. Hopefully it’ll be early in the year, or at least after “Sherlock” airs. Our feeling is that the Benedict Cumberbatch series, which also hails from executive producer Steven Moffat, will air either late this year or at some point in early 2017.
Once there is some other news, we’ll have it for you here! Maybe we’ll get something new and in video form from star Peter Capaldi in the near future. Fingers crossed!
