‘UnREAL’ season 2 spoilers: Expect to see a ‘nasty’ side of Rachel soon

UnREAL -

For those of you who appreciate Rachel on “UnREAL” the most when she is fighting for what she wants, we come bearing some big news: You’re going to be seeing quite a bit of that on the show moving forward this season!

We already know that when it comes to her title as the showrunner on “Everlasting,” she is taking a few lumps. After all, Quinn effectively took back over in order to rival Chet, and she’s not happy with it. That’s why she made a call and brought in her own help in new showrunner Coleman, and we have a feeling that this is going to lead to some further arguments and tension soon. For more on that, just take a look at what Shiri Appleby had to say to TVLine:

“She doesn’t deal with it very well. She’s sort of a little bit lost at sea in that she’s not running the show, she doesn’t really have any ‘girls to produce.’ So the only way for her to gain control of the show is to play a little nasty.”

By the time we get to the end of the next few episodes, we have a little bit of a greater feeling precisely what this will entail. We do specifically feel like it’s going to cause her and Quinn to erupt at each other a few times, which does seem to be a natural part of their relationship in some ways. They fight, they are competitive, but at the end of the day this environment enables them to make the best show humanly possible.
