‘BrainDead’ episode 2 preview: How will CBS follow up crazy premiere?
At this point, hopefully you have started to get accustomed to the story of “BrainDead.” It’s weird, it’s wacky, but at the same exact time, we give executive producers Robert and Michelle King a whole lot of credit for having the guts to tell the story about an incest invasion that is changing the Washington political landscape forever. After “The Good Wife,” they could have set out to do any legal drama under the sun, and they would have probably had a heck of amount of support for it in the process.
So where do we go following the events of tonight? How about with an episode that has one of the strangest names possible! The title for this upcoming installment is none other than “The Insanity Principle: How Extremism in Politics is Threatening Democracy in the 21st Century,” which is quite a mouthful to say. This seems to be an intentional move that is being made with all of these installments, similar in many ways to what the shows like “Mr. Robot” are doing when it comes to some of its own titles.
You can also see the official synopsis below to get a little bit more insight when it comes to what to expect over the course of the hour:
“Laurel continues to investigate the death of esteemed Dr. Daudier, while bugs infect more citizens of Washington, D.C. Rochelle Daudier (Nikki M. James), the deceased doctor’s daughter and Gustav Triplette (Johnny Ray Gill), an eccentric genius, both encounter the bugs separately and begin to question exactly what is happening.”
