‘Penny Dreadful’ season 3 finale spoilers: Ethan, Sir Malcolm, and Kaetenay’s bizarre arrival (video)

Sunday night’s two-part finale of “Penny Dreadful” on Showtime is going to contain a wide array of interesting events, and perhaps there is no better scene to show that than the one in the sneak peek video below.

Here, you can see Ethan, Sir Malcolm, and Kaetenay arrive back in London, only to make a very key revelation moments later: Nobody’s around! Where is everyone? It’s so mysterious that even the rodents don’t really want to be a part of it.

We know that for Ethan, he has a specific goal, and it’s going to take a good while in this episode for him to figure out if that can come to fruition. We just hope that at some point before we get to the end of the finale, there’s some sort of big reunion between him and Vanessa (really we would like to see a reunion of all the characters after being apart all season), and she in turn is spared from some of what is currently tormenting her with Dracula, who now literally has his fangs in her and has moved her towards the darkness. We’ll probably always root for Ethan and Vanessa, just because we know these characters’ hearts at this point, and also feel like they are truly stronger together.

Since the finale for this season does not air for two more days, rest assured that this is not the only sneak peek we’re going to be analyzing. We’re going to have another one tomorrow, so be sure to look for that then!
