Tony Awards -

Tonight, the Tony Awards are of course bringing to you a celebration of all things theater, and that means giving you a wide array of winners from all walks of life, and all sorts of theater. Of course, we expect “Hamilton” to win a ton of awards over the course of the night, but it’s not the only nominee on the night! There are other categories, after all, that it is not even in.

Therefore, we’re going to be updating this winners’ list as the night goes on. Be sure to refresh this page periodically to get a little more information!

Featured Actress in a Play – Jayne Houdyshell, “The Humans.” This was a really lovely speech, as she talked about the full extent of her journey after working for several decades in the industry.

Featured Actress in a Musical – Renee Elise Goldsberry, “Hamilton.” We cannot say that we are shocked by the result at all, but this was certainly yet another moving speech as she talked about her family and the effort she put into playing this role.

Featured Actor in a Musical – Daveed Diggs, “Hamilton.” Here’s it’s second major win! Also, a fun story from Diggs about his father.

Leading Actress in a Play – Jessica Lange, “Long Day’s Journey Into Night.”

Leading Actor in a Play – Frank Langella, “The Father.” When it comes to Orlando, this was one of the most powerful speeches of the night.
