‘Preacher’ episode 3 video: Tulip tries to strike a deal

How does Tulip negotiate? That is the subject of the latest “Preacher” sneak peek below, which could be the foundation for a really fun episode airing on AMC Sunday night.

Basically, in this scene we have none other than a classic trade-off, one that is made significantly more entertaining by the character’s trademark personality and way of doing things. She’s sassy, ambitious, and at times even highly manipulative. We certainly think that she got into Jesse’s head somewhat at the end of this past episode, and brought back a certain side of him that he had not embraced in quite some time.

Now, from here the question you gotta wonder if what is going to happen next, and if Jesse is going to follow that “baptism” with a return to his typical preacher ways, or continue to embrace some of the new abilities that he finds himself with. This is a show that is to a certain extent about morality, and one way that he’ll have to look at his decisions is whether or not he is operating for the greater good offsets the immorality of some of what he does.

We don’t want to get too far down that rabbit hole at the moment, though; instead, let’s just enjoy the sneak peek, talk about how awesome the show’s take on Tulip is, and look forward to the remainder of this episode. “Preacher” is already starting to find its stride in just two episodes, which definitely says great things for the remainder of the season.
