‘The Last Ship’ season 3 spoilers: Will President Michener come into question?

When Michener came into power on this past season of “The Last Ship,” at first it appeared as though it was the right move. We’re still rather convinced that it is, but the reality here remains that this is not a world for the weak, and every human has some element of weakness in them. Therefore, there are going to be many moments on this upcoming season where he is tested, and the same goes for Chandler and the rest of the crew over at the Nathan James.

This brings us to “Devil May Care,” which is the fourth episode of the season airing on Sunday, June 26. Based on the official synopsis below (per SpoilerTV), there is going to be quite a bit of drama that unfolds over new enemies, a mutation to the virus, and what happens when everyone wants the President to follow a certain line of action, even if it is not that clear to him:

“Chandler must confront his suspected new foe. Slattery learns more about the supposed virus mutation. Pressure mounts on President Michener as the situation worsens.”

This season is of course going to escalate, and by the time we make it to the end of it, there will be some more threats that come out of all sorts of places around the world. As you saw courtesy of the two-hour premiere this past weekend, this particular season is going to have the most global feel of any that we have had a chance to see to date.
