Teen Choice Awards 2016: Misha Collins, Becky G, Sasha Pieterse up for ‘Scene Stealer’ honor

Teen Choice -Sometimes, the folks over at the Teen Choice Awards like to come up with as many different categories as possible, and sometimes, they can really be confusing. Specifically, there are times when we’ve wondered whether or not these are just excuses to nominate as many different people as possible from a show like “Pretty Little Liars” or “Empire,” which airs on the same network as the awards-show in Fox.

Anyhow, we’re now here to present what we imagine is the Teen Choice version of Supporting Actor / Actress in Choice TV: Scene Stealer. These are people who you look forward to seeing on the show, and you also miss when you’re not around. As we’ve done with every other category for the awards show so far, you can take out our full take on the nominees below, coupled with a poll at the bottom to choose your favorite. You can also head over here to vote for the actual Teen Choice Awards yourself, if you are so inclined.

The nominees

Misha Collins, “Supernatural”

Becky G, “Empire”

Tahj Mowry, “Baby Daddy”

Sasha Pieterse, “Pretty Little Liars”

Serayah McNeill, “Empire”

Hudson Yang, “Fresh Off The Boat”

Who will win – Given the Teen Choice love that is out there for all things “PLL,” Pieterse is probably the most likely choice. However, if there is one thing that we have definitely come to know over time about the #SPNFamily, it is that it is a complete and utter mistake to discount them. They could pull through for Misha in a big way if they fight to help him. As for the other nominees, “Baby Daddy” is probably not a big enough show, and we’re not sure “Fresh Off the Boat” is high-profile enough with teens. “Empire” may cancel itself out.

Who should win – We know we’re a little biased as a “Supernatural” and Castiel / Lucifer fan, but we’re going with Misha, who got a chance to really turn in some fun work over the course of the past year or so. Plus, it’s yet another amazing reminder of how popular this show remains so many years into its run.

Now, we’re turning it over to you in the poll!
