‘Preacher’ episode 2 commentary via Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg released by AMC

Preacher -Who wants to get some more goodness from the world of “Preacher“? We almost didn’t expect that there would be another commentary track released given that we already given the gift of one following the premiere, but you know what they say about assuming… (we don’t really have to write that out, right?)

Anyhow, if you head over here, you can listen to a commentary track on the second episode “See” from directors Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg (sign-in required), where you can get more of their insight into making the show and specific choices. These are two guys who wanted to get this show made for a rather long time, so you do get the sense that they really love and care about the work put into it. Plus, they know how to make some badass scenes. We knew that before this show even started; it’s just further proof of it.

This second episode threw a lot of interesting stuff in, whether it be one of the craziest baptisms of all time to Cassidy finding himself in a most unusual situation. There are questions of faith, questions of whether or not you can escape your past, and also a ton of blood. The universe of “Preacher” would not have it any other way.

Of course, new episodes of the show will continue airing Sunday nights at 9:00 p.m. Eastern time, and we’re certainly on edge to see what is thrown out there next.
