We are slowly and surely getting near the end of the road on “Person of Interest,” but in news that should probably surprise no one, we are going to start to see a story really accelerate over the next two episodes as Finch makes one things really clear: He is not ending things without a fight. He and Reese are going to do whatever they can to further along their own notion of justice, but for one of them, it could be a suicide mission by the time we make it to the end.
Here’s our concern for Michael Emerson’s character: Even if he is able to properly infiltrate the facility and put an end to Samaritan, can he really do without losing his own life in the process? We know that the man is skilled, but you may be asking him to be an action hero, something he is not. Over the course of the series, he has survived more on the basis of his own intelligence.
If there could be good news for him, we imagine it’d be somewhat along the lines of having Reese and Shaw come to his rescue given that the two of them are out there, and at least in theory they’d have a vested interest in making sure he was safe. They’d at least try their best to.
We’ll have a little more insight on next week’s “.EXE” beyond the promo below as we get a little bit closer to it airing. Stay tuned…
