The fourth season of “Reign” may not have an official premiere date just yet, but we are at least aware now of what is going to be coming in terms of a notable character, someone who is going to do everything that he can to try and wed Mary, Queen of Scots.
According to Entertainment Weekly, actor Will Kemp will appear in multiple episodes of the upcoming season as Lord Darnley, a character based on a true-to-life English nobleman who is determined to do just about everything in his power to marry Adelaide Kane’s character. For those curious, here is the official character description for the man:
“Breezily confident, charming and warm, he was born with a blood-claim of his own to the English throne and a wildly ambitious mother whose love hinges entirely on his ability to secure a crown.”
In the final episodes of this season, we are seeing Mary in more of a state of hiding; as a matter of fact, she could be content at present with having some presume her to be dead. However, that is going to be changing eventually, and as we get further and further into the fourth season, we certainly assume that things are going to get more and more chaotic to go along with that.
We’re going to have some other updates on casting for the fourth season soon; after all, we definitely assume that this is not the end of the road in regards to that.
