‘Girl Meets World’ season 3, episode 2 video: Lucas wants advice on Riley, Maya

The second part of the “Girl Meets World” premiere airs on the Disney Channel tonight! Who’s excited? As we get near the end of the “Girl Meets High School” saga, we’re going to start to see some of the characters face some tough choices when it comes to how to live their lives … and this certainly includes Lucas.

In the sneak peek below, he and Zay look towards Farkle and Smackle for some advice, particularly in terms of how they are meant to deal with some of changes in their world. They thought that the transition would be easier, and Lucas is starting to feel like he “abandoned” them and doesn’t even deserve them as friends. This is where Farkle can come in with some encouragement!

The reality here is that in one way or another, Lucas will probably figure out the right thing to do here. He’s someone who means well in the end, but he’s a teenage guy trying to deal with a new environment. He’s going to react differently to change than other characters will, and at times, he may push Riley and others away for the sake of what he feels is “cool” or “right” in the moment. He just has to realize afterwards that in doing so, he’s really only hurting himself, and he needs to be bringing these people closer. These are the ones who will be there for him during hard times more so than some people who he just happens to meet in high school with their own agendas.
