‘Preacher’ episode 2 preview: Tulip plays Jesse a visit

It’s been a couple of weeks since “Preacher” aired a new episode on AMC, but come Sunday night, you’re going to have a chance to see more of what exactly lies ahead for these characters. Jesse has been informed of his higher calling (word choice intentional), but that does not necessarily mean that he is reading to follow it at any and every turn.

The sneak peek below basically is a series of baptisms, with the visual style being especially effective at demonstrating the wide array of “characters” (if you want to call them that) present within the town, and then giving us a pretty darn entertaining moment with Tulip deciding that she wants in on the action … before informing Jesse that it was “time.”

What was so interesting about the premiere for this show is that while it was incredibly entertaining, we don’t really think that it did altogether that much when it comes to making it clear what the remainder of the series would be like. Therefore, there is a great element of mystery for non-comic-book-readers out there in seeing how this moves forward.
