‘Person of Interest’ season 5, episode 10 video: Will someone die in 100th episode?

This past episode of “Person of Interest” certainly did a lot of work when it comes to character and story development. Both Shaw and Fusco had some progression, and you want to think that in some ways, everyone can continue to move in the right direction as we push forward into the next installment of the show airing on Tuesday night (otherwise known as the 100th episode).

Unfortunately for some, the promo below hints at some dark times ahead. Specifically, it sets up the notion that we could be losing a character we care about, which is definitely a rather-distressing thought.

Would the show really be so bold as to eliminate someone like Reese, Finch, or Root so soon before the finale? We suppose anything is possible, though the idea of this would definitely depress us. To us, the more likely scenario here is that we see the show find a way to cast off someone who is important to the overall story, but not necessarily so essential that you cannot imagine the show without them. Then again, who knows? We’ve been shocked with this series many times over the years, and we hope that this is a trend that continues as we press onward into the incoming series finale.
