‘The Flash’ season 3 spoilers: Carlos Valdes teases ‘different’ story ahead

Cisco -

The second season of “The Flash” was crazy, trippy, and all sorts of fun, but it ended in a way that could really undo almost everything that happen over the course of the series so far. Barry went back in time and saved his mother from the Reverse Flash, and with that, you have to wonder if everything could be different.

Of course, at present one of the stars in Carlos Valdes a.k.a. Cisco isn’t giving anything away; yet, he did give the following tease (and a rather compelling one, no less) to his audience at MegaCon in Orlando (per ComicBook.com):

“All I’m going to tell you is things are going to be different, way different … Not in a bad way; I think in a really exciting way, and it’s that difference that’s going to inform Barry’s trajectory throughout the season, and I think people are going to like it.”

We do think that the third season for the show is going to eventually establish the equilibrium once more where we have a chance to see Barry Allen as he was, at least to a certain extent. Otherwise, what was the point of everything so far? Much of this show is ultimately about action and consequences, so we do think that a lot of fun of this upcoming episode is going to be getting a chance to see precisely how the Flashpoint actions inform the new present, given that Barry will at least remember it if or when things come back to normal.
