Is ‘Reign’ season 3, episode 16 new tonight on The CW?

For all fans of “Reign” on The CW, we presume that it has been nice to have a run of episodes this spring! Prior to that the show was on hiatus for many months, and before we got the news of the network renewing it for a season 4, there was a period of great uncertainty in there where we did not even know for sure that the show was going to be coming back.

Luckily, the great news now is that we do know that there’ll be more of the show, and there are still a few episodes to go this season. Unfortunately, there’s just not one of them airing tonight. With it being Memorial Day, and with the show no longer in May sweeps, it feels like The CW smartly elected against putting it on at a time when fewer people would be watching it. There are still many open weeks ahead this summer, and the next new episode “Clans” is going to air on Monday, June 6 at its regular time.

Beyond that, there has not been too much reported for certain on the remainder of this season, other than that the 17th episode of the season airing on June 13 will be titled “Intruders.” The finale airs on June 20, and after that it’s really anyone’s guess in terms of when the show could be coming back for the next season. All we can say for certain is that Scotland will be more prominent than ever, and we will have some further news as it pours in.
