‘The Bachelorette’ spoilers: See Luke Pell meet JoJo Fletcher — on a unicorn (video)

If there is one person who put unicorns back into the pop-culture consciousness more than anyone else in 2016, it’s clearly JoJo Fletcher. On this past season of “The Bachelor,” she clearly made her presence felt by showing up the first night in a unicorn mask, something that was very silly but also very memorable. It was a good example that you can have a goofy introduction, provided that you move on from it onto something else rather quickly.

Therefore, we gotta give Luke Pell some props for following suit on “The Bachelorette” Monday night. If you look at the sneak peek below, you can see him arriving on a “unicorn” named Coconut. It’s no coincidence that Luke is the token “guy who arrives on horseback” this season, given that he is extremely familiar with animals and has that sort of small-town background.

Based on what we’ve seen from this guy in general (you can read his full spotlight here), it’s easy to figure out that he could be a contender for JoJo’s heart this season; if not that, maybe he’s a Bachelor candidate from this show. He’s from a part of the country (Texas) that Bachelor Nation always responds to, he’s got humility, and we’re sure viewers will appreciate that he has a history of military service. He’s also a musician, but we’re not sure how much that is going to be shown off on the show this season.

Before we start to hype this guy up too much, maybe we should see if he survives the premiere first? That’s something that we are going to have some further coverage of later, when we post our full review for the first episode at this link. Be on the lookout for it!
