‘The Flash’ season 2 finale spoilers: Who is Zoom threatening now?

The season finale of “The Flash” is coming your way on Tuesday night, and with that, we’re going to have in due time a key answer to a question many people are probably wondering in one way or another right now: What in the world is Zoom going to do now? We’ve already seen him wreck some serious havoc on Barry Allen’s father, given that it certainly appears right now as though Henry is dead.

Is he going after his other father figure Tuesday? The photo above certainly makes it appear so, as Joe West looks incredibly nervous as Zoom has him in his clutches. We’ve learned at this point that he’s out to destroy Earth-2 further, and in the process, could cause Earth-1 to crumble in its own way. We’re not sure if there is a villain out there in this world who simply enjoys the destruction of the world for the heck of it, and that includes torturing Barry Allen.

How in the world do you stop someone like this? We figure that this is going to prove to be no easy task; yet, part of the fun of the show will be figuring that out, and delivering an episode for the ages that could at the same time set the stage for season 3. The thing that we really don’t want to do right now is even remotely think for a minute about there being a lengthy hiatus between Tuesday and October, but unfortunately, that is precisely what we are looking at.
