‘Rizzoli & Isles’ season 7 spoilers: First look at two-hour premiere

Monday, June 6 is going to be a very busy night for summer TV. Not only are “The Bachelorette” and “Mistresses” already on the air already, but it also marks the premieres of “UnREAL” and “Devious Maids” over on Lifetime, coupled with the start of “Rizzoli & Isles” on TNT with a two-hour premiere. This is the final season for the Angie Harmon – Sasha Alexander series, which is going to run weekly until the story is wrapped. There’s a lot to resolve, and we want to see the finale season focused more on the relationship that Maura and Jane have been cultivating over the years then anything else. Of course we also want to see them solving crimes together as well!

Based on the two synopses below, it does appear that the top priority is going to be stopping Alice Sands, the woman responsible for tormenting Jane and putting so many of her loved ones in danger. (These synopses come over courtesy of SpoilerTV.)

7×01, “Two Shots: Move Forward” – “In the aftermath of a shooting, the team must use every tool at their disposal to find Alice Sands and bring her to justice before she destroys Jane’s life.”

7×02, “Dangerous Curve Ahead” – “While the entire Boston Police Department searches for Alice Sands, the team investigates a car crash that isn’t all it seems. In the midst of all of this, a new romance blossoms.”

We had previously heard that the show was going to be resolving the Alice Sands case at some point before we got too deep into season 7, that way a new long-term storyline could start to develop that will carry us through to the season finale. We’ll see if that ultimately sticks.
