‘The Bachelorette’ spotlight: Will Nick Sharp look sharp in JoJo Fletcher’s eyes?
Does a job make a contender on “The Bachelorette“? We’re not quite sure, but if it does turn out to be the case, JoJo can at least appreciate the fact that like Ben Higgins, the latest contestant we’re spotlighting in Nick Sharp is a software salesman. He’s a guy who seems outgoing, and also doesn’t really seem afraid to represent the preppy community based on his fashion choice in the photo above.
Is he going to be JoJo’s type? That’s something we’ll try to figure out through this.
Name – Nick Sharp
Age – 26
Occupation – Software salesman. As we said, similar job in some ways to what Ben had before his season of “The Bachelorette,” which was not really brought up since people apparently found it boring.
Location – San Francisco, California. If you’re in software, is there really a better place than be than around Silicon Valley?
Pros – He wants a large family, he seems perfectly enthusiastic, and we personally love that two of his favorite movies are “Catch Me If You Can” and “The Sandlot.” He also bears some resemblance to Matt Bomer, so cheers to that.
Cons – For whatever reason, there’s something about Nick that makes us wonder if he is the sort of guy that JoJo goes for. Maybe it’s because she’s from Texas and we think she’s going to go for more of a rugged, midwestern look than someone who doesn’t like “scary cheese.”
Most likely to… Probably get stir-crazy in the house. Based on what we’ve seen Nick’s an adventurous guy, and likes to do a lot of traveling around.
Final assessment – Personally, we like Nick, and he’s going to have his work cut out for him trying to be the most polarizing Nick in the history of the show. With that, there may be plenty of room to be the most universally-liked one! We just don’t think he is going to last long enough, alas, to really matter much at the end of the day.
