‘Gilmore Girls’ revival on Netflix gets title, teaser poster

For the past month or so, we’ve been referring to the “Gilmore Girls” revival for the most part as “Gilmore Girls: Seasons,” mostly due to the fact that this show on Netflix is going to be airing four separate 90-minute episodes that are all set in a particular period of time.

Now, we’ve got a few more details about this particular special, including a title that we can refer to it as from here on out: “Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life.” We actually probably prefer the other one, mostly because it felt more applicable to what was really going on. Also, this is quite a mouthful to say out loud.

As for the poster below, we really appreciate it! It’s simple, but at the same time sentimental, nostalgic, and a reminder that the show ill be coming down the pipeline. There is not any particular premiere date just yet, but for the time being, our expectation is that we will be seeing it potentially later this year. We imagine that for all fans of Stars Hollow, this will be an event like no other! Joining Alexis Biedel and Lauren Graham for the show are going to be many familiar faces from the original show, including Jared Padalecki, Matt Czuchry, Milo Ventimiglia, and even a small appearance from Melissa McCarthy.

Hopefully, there will be some more details released over the next few weeks … and we’d really be thrilled if there is some sort of official trailer put out there for us to watch. We imagine that this will come during the summer, once we get through a few other Netflix staples like “Bloodline” and “Orange is the New Black.”
