‘Legends of Tomorrow’ finale spoilers: Show boss on Patrick J. Adams mystery

As you more than likely have heard already, “Suits” star Patrick J. Adams is going to be making an appearance on the upcoming finale for “Legends of Tomorrow,” but there is one substantial mystery that remains: Who is the actor going to play? The CW has done a pretty amazing job of keeping this a secret, even though it has been revealed that he will be playing some sort of character from the world of DC Comics.

Want at least one more, albeit tiny teaser about the future of the show? Then be sure to take our advice, and check out precisely what executive producer Phil Klemmer says in setting up the finale to TVLine:

“Without spoiling what I think is actually a really cool, fun moment, I will say that Patrick’s appearance serves to plant a flag for next year. We have a very definitive endpoint to the Vandal Savage story, and Patrick’s role really serves to give you a very good sense as to where we’re headed next year.”

One thing to really remember here is that regardless of what the role may be, it will probably not be one of a series regular. Adams has another gig over on the aforementioned USA show, and it will command the majority of his time moving forward. Hopefully, though, there will still be a chance for him to hop over from Toronto to Vancouver in order to film a few more episodes of the show here and there. Rest assured that come the end of the episode tomorrow, we’ll be back with a whole flurry of news as to what to expect.
