The big finale for “Legends of Tomorrow” is going to be coming your way in one day’s time, and it feels clear that there is one word that you can use to describe it: Epic.
After all, how else do you really describe a plot that may require so much as to travel between three separate eras in hopes of taking down Vandal Savage once and for all? It’s certainly one of the more convoluted schemes that we’ve seen the time come up with, but that does not mean that it is any less the right way to seemingly stop this guy once and for all.
This trailer does also make it more than a little bit clear that we are going to see the return of Leonard Snart in one way or another, despite him just being killed off. Then again, that really should not too much of a surprise in the slightest when you remember for a minute that it has already been confirmed that he will be a series regular across the entire Greg Berlanti superhero universe next season. He’s not really beholden to any one individual snow, and is going to have a chance to move between them and form a unique narrative in his own way.
In addition to of course resolving the story of Savage, this finale should also be effective in setting up the story for the second season. That’s why Patrick J. Adams will be turning up in some form! It’s mostly just interesting that almost nothing has been said about his character, and also that he has really not been featured anywhere so far.
