‘The Celebrity Apprentice’: Arnold Schwarzenegger on new season, signing on

Celebrity -The bad news right now when it comes to “The Celebrity Apprentice” is that it simply looks more and more like we’re going to be waiting to see it for a rather long time. Based on what we’ve heard this week from NBC, it could be early 2017 before the show debuts with Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Do we understand the reasoning behind their decision? Absolutely, since this show fared really well the last time it aired in January over a year ago. It’s a nice fill-in show for “The Voice,” and it also doesn’t have a whole lot of competition there other than maybe “The Bachelor” … but that show has a very different audience within the reality TV community.

Just in case you’re curious how exactly Arnold is going to approach being the man man in the boardroom, he explains in the video below to “Access Hollywood.” He also makes it clear that he is actually going to try out a number of catch-phrases to really see what works. He admits that he knew many of the contestants for the upcoming season (which has already filmed) prior to the show happening, but all of that goes out the window in the boardroom. Specifically, he recalls a moment where it told Jon Lovitz to not refer to him as “Arnold” while in the boardroom.

We anticipate that much of the original soul of the show will still be here despite the move to Los Angeles. There’ll be comedy, there’ll be some drama, and we’ll definitely have people screaming at each other.
