Tonight on ABC, the first season of “Quantico” is going to be coming to a close, but with that, we know that the journey is far from over. There will be at least a minor (if not major) cliffhanger at the end of this installment, and this will help to carry us through to what should be a rather epic second season.
So when will this season premiere? There’s no firm answer to that at the moment, but there are some easy expectations that we have for it. Given the amount of hype that the network has given the show, we imagine they will try to keep it on Sunday nights and premiere it in late September / early October. There is one big thing that we’d really like to see them do, and that is figure out a way to give this show a lead-in that can actually help it. Through almost the entirety of season 1, it had to stand on its own. First, it aired after “Blood & Oil,” which never really got off the ground; then, it had another show in “The Family” that failed rather spectacularly in its own hopes of supporting it.
Story-wise, we’ll chronicle more of what we’d like to see from the show in due time, but here is to hoping that we continue to see some twists and turns, and also that Priyanka Chopra gets some more material that shows off the full range of what she can do. Oh, and there’ll probably be some other huge crisis for Alex Parrish to take on. That seems to be a pretty present theme.
