The upcoming fourth season of “Mistresses” is going to becoming your way on ABC Monday, May 30, and there’s one thing that we can certainly say about the photo below: This quartet is now a trio.
Last year, it was reported that Jennifer Esposito was not going to be returning to the show in the role of Calista Raines; meanwhile, despite a move to Los Angeles, we also found out some time ago that Alyssa Milano would not be bringing back Savi. (She originally left due to the show’s move to Vancouver.) As a result of that, we are now left with Jes Macallen (Joss), Yunjim Kim (Karen), and Rochelle Aytes (April) as the main cast members alongside some of the guys and other supporting roles.
As for the stories that are ahead this season, it’s really too early to tell! We certainly anticipate that Joss will survive her dangerous predicament from the finale, but who knows about everything else? We’re sure that she and Harry are not just going to be off in paradise anytime soon, and the same goes for April and Marc. This is a show that feeds off of the drama, and also having some of its characters knee-deep in situations that they may not be able to get out of.
One other thing that we’ll say is that we’re glad to see that the show is coming back to Monday nights. That seems to be so much more of a natural place for it, especially when you think for a minute or two about “The Bachelorette” as a lead-in.
