‘Legends of Tomorrow’ episode 16 (finale) spoilers: ‘Legendary,’ and a key Caity Lotz revelation

“Legends of Tomorrow” is coming to a close with an episode entitled “Legendary,” which we imagine is going to be a pretty epic hour of television from start to finish. Think of this as a real chance to start to unwind following the events of last week’s episode, and also as a way to see what the second season of the show is going to be like.

“After the numerous sacrifices the team has made since the beginning of this ride, Rip (Arthur Darvill) decides that it’s time they each decide their own destiny and returns them to Central City a few months after they first left. Returned to their normal lives, each team member must individually decide if they are willing to sacrifice everything in order to save the world. Meanwhile, Sara (Caity Lotz) visits with her father (guest star Paul Blackthorne) who delivers some heartbreaking news about her sister.”

“Arrow” viewers know a thing or two about what Sara is going to learn; this was something hinted to her by Vandal Savage earlier this season, but she didn’t have a chance to pick up on what he was saying. For Sara, there could also be a little bit of mourning here depending on whether or not Snart, who she did truly care about, is gone. He seemed to give his life to protect the team on tonight’s episode.
