With the seventh and possibly final season of “Pretty Little Liars” coming to Freeform on Tuesday, June 21, the folks over at the network are starting to be kind enough to lift the veil on some of what can be expected.
In the new video below via the show’s official Instragram page, you can see what looks as though it will be a very dangerous batch of episodes coming up. Specifically, at the center of all of this will be some questions regarding the character of Hanna Marin (Ashley Benson), and whether or not she can be saved from what is turning out to be a pretty terrible, horrible fate that was present during the season 6 cliffhanger.
Also, we have some further reminders in her about who we are meant to fear, and here’s a hint: He goes by Dr. Rollins. This guy is going to be the Big Bad for at least the first half of this season presumably alongside Mary, the secret twin of Mrs. DiLaurentis, who died back well before the time jump into the future.
There is a lot that the show to unpack here, and the 20 episodes are more than likely going to be divided into summer and winter halves. We’ll have some further news on the subject as it starts to come out.
