‘Gilmore Girls’ revival wraps; now, we await the premiere

Gilmore Girls -Love “Gilmore Girls“? This year has certainly been a celebration of all things related to the classic series, which it be the announcement of its revival to filming beginning to even seeing so many familiar faces returning. We were skeptical that Jared Padalecki would have time thanks to “Supernatural,” and we almost didn’t think there was any way a Melissa McCarthy appearance could or would happen; yet, both have, and creator Amy Sherman-Palladino has somehow figured out a way to bring back the vast majority of available faces to Stars Hollow.

Now, filming for the revival seems to be finally coming to a close. The Twitter photo below via Scott G. Patterson’s account (featuring Lauren Graham!) is proof of that very thing. It’s also a good sign that everyone really enjoyed their time together.

What comes next? It’s mostly waiting for more details, and for Netflix to announce when these four 90-minute movies are going to premiere. Given that they are based around seasons, there is a part of us that thinks it’d be rather interesting if the service were to release each one several months apart to correspond with that given period of time. Yet, that’s not really their model, and there’d also probably be more than a few angry fans out there who’d rather just get them all at once after waiting for so long for a few specific words to be said.

One way or another, rest assured that we will have some further news related to all things “Gilmore Girls” over the course of the next several weeks. The link to use as reference is the one here.
