Tonight, “Dancing with the Stars” did something a little bit different in announcing their results. Rather than putting everything at the very end of the episode, they gave us a few little results throughout that helped establish the bottom three: Jodie Sweetin & Keo Motsepe, Antonio Brown & Sharna Burgess, and Wanya Morris & Lindsay Arnold.
Going into the night, we predicted that Jodie was going to be going home, and we had a perfect record this season staked on it. However, she really didn’t deserve to based on the quality of her work tonight. Not only that, Keo has become a stronger and stronger choreographer over the course of the season. Wanya had the weakest night, but looking at his body of work, did he really deserve to go home? It’s hard to argue a case for it. (We’re mostly speaking in circles, since someone HAS to go home.)
Once the final results were revealed, we learned that the first of the remaining couples safe for the semifinals was Antonio & Sharna. Pittsburgh Steelers fans pull through! No surprise here.
Now, let’s get to the elimination. It was between Jodie and Wanya, and the Star sent home was … Jodie and Keo. It’s sad to be right here, because she left on such a high note and we feel like, had she had a bigger voting block, she could have made it to the finals. Yet, this is what happens at this point! Everyone is good, and there are no duds. Now, Jodie goes back to season 2 of “Fuller House,” hopefully with her head held high.
