‘Once Upon a Time’ season 5 finale spoilers: ‘Only You,’ ‘An Untold Story,’ and dealing with death

This week’s new episode of “Once Upon a Time” brought us more drama, more magic, and also unfortunately more sadness. The show basically made it clear precisely how high the stakes are moving into the last episode, and it did so by probably making a few people out there tear up.

Next week, be ready for a double-shot of episodes as ABC wraps up season 5 with “Only You” followed by “An Untold Story.” The first title is something that truly must strike a chord right away, given that this is the title of the song Henry had such a close affection to on the first half of the season. Meanwhile, “An Untold Story” seems to be a perfect setup for the sixth season if there ever was once.

What we do know is that over the course of these two episodes, we’ll get a chance to see a pair of characters in the warden of a psych ward and one of their own patients. These people could have a fairy-tale connection, but it probably will not be obvious right away.

The promo below gives you more specifically of how Regina is doing in the aftermath of losing Robin Hood; basically, there’s a fear that the Evil Queen is going to return, and do so by bringing carnage to Storybrooke. Also, we have a huge fear that stems from seeing Rumpelstiltskin get that crystal, which we’ve already seen to be extremely powerful.
