‘The Good Wife’ series finale: Julianna Margulies, Chris Noth, cast look back in new video

While CBS is keeping all things close to the vest when it comes to the story of the series finale of “The Good Wife” airing tonight, they are at least showing a thing or two in regards to how the cast feel about saying farewell to some of these characters.

In the video below, you can see Julianna Margulies, Chris Noth, Cush Jumbo, Christine Baranski, and Alan Cumming all reflect on the journeys that they have had over the course of their time on the show, explaining some of the choices that their characters have made, and also discussing how much they have changed since the start of the show. Noth claims that he can still feel the slap that is so famous to many fans now; Margulies in particular has been thrilled by the arc this season, especially when it comes to getting to see more of Alicia alongside a potential new love in Jason Crouse (Jeffrey Dean Morgan).

One way or another, we’re sure that not every person out there will love the series finale, mostly because that’s just the way of things. The best thing that the show and the cast can really hope for at this point is that the majority of people are on board with what the producers decide to do and are entertained by it. So long as it makes sense to them, that is all that matters. (What’s interesting to us is that the cast seems to be already expecting that some people won’t like the finale, which means that we could be in for quite a discussion later.)
