‘NCIS’ season 13, episode 22 video: Gibbs uses a hashtag in chat with Abby

Tuesday night’s new episode of “NCIS” entitled “Homefront” has been promoted heavily as being a huge episode, largely because it is one featuring an appearance from none other than First Lady Michelle Obama as a way to further promote the “Joining Forces” initiative to support military veterans and their families.

So why is the First Lady not in many of the sneak peeks released by CBS? A big part of that may just be the sole fact that she is only in a tiny portion of the hour, and the network doesn’t want to give it all away now. As a matter of fact, we’re wondering somewhat if she’s in a substantial amount of it beyond the promos that we’ve seen.

What we have for you below from this episode is a small little clip featuring Gibbs and Abby, who is in the process of trying to honor people more why they are actually alive rather than after they go. This is why she praises McGee and Gibbs, and uses a hashtag in the process in conversation. From here, Gibbs actually does the same … before things get back focused on the case-of-the-week.

In case you’re wondering where DiNozzo is in this sneak peek, especially given there is so little time left this season, our feeling is starting to be more that this may have been around when he was filming the pilot for “Bull.” There are only so many places that the man can be at once, so you have to keep that in mind.
