‘Arrow’ season 4, episode 20 video: Another look at Diggle – Andy carnage in ‘Genesis’

Wednesday night’s new episode of “Arrow” carries the title of “Genesis,” and what that could translate to mean in the context of many of these characters is the beginning of the end. There is going to be much in the way of pain and suffering ahead for some of these people, especially Diggle … and we understand why.

On this past episode, we really didn’t see a whole love of David Ramsey’s character seeking revenge for what happened, and there was one fairly-simple reason for that. After all, he still feels betrayed by his brother Andy, and as a result of his trust in him, he feels responsible for Laurel’s death. This is his chance to strike back as a result of all this.

Yet, will he be successful? Given his present state of mind, we’re very worried that Diggle just isn’t seen the forest through the trees. He’s so consumed by his desire to get back at Andy that he is exposing himself, and probably also exposing many of his friends in Team Arrow in the process. The same goes for his own wife and child. While we haven’t heard anything about another significant character death this season, we are certainly worried still about John following some of his latest actions. We’ve seen Oliver broken, but we’re not so sure that we’ve ever seen him quite like this.
