‘Agents of SHIELD’ season 3 spoilers: More on ‘Fallen Agent,’ aftermath of ‘Captain America: Civil War’

Agents of SHIELD -Two years ago, “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” played an enormous role in the events of Marvel’s “Agents of SHIELD” as we ended up seeing the emergence of Hydra in a pretty substantial way. This film ultimately influenced the show way more than “The Avengers: Age of Ultron” ultimately did.

What’s happening this season with “Captain America: Civil War”? While we’re not entirely sure that this will be as seismic a shift for the show as in season 1, we can at least tell you that there will be a twist coming up for the Inhumans on the May 10 episode entitled “Emancipation” that could change quite a few things for the team. The synopsis below also hints at us getting ever closer to learning who the “fallen agent” is going to be, as advertised in the myriad of promos that are out there for this show:

“With only two episodes left before S.H.I.E.L.D. loses one of their own, Daisy’s prophecy ticks closer towards a major loss, as the aftermath of the events of “Marvel’s Captain America: Civil War” force S.H.I.E.L.D. to [make a big move involving the Inhumans].”

This episode will bring us closer to understanding the entire arc of the season, and what is also going to probably be a super-thrilling finale that starts to put the events in motion for a fourth season. Despite some lower ratings we know that the show is coming back, and there will probably be at least some sort of cliffhanger to prepare us for that.
