Finale Forecast: How will ‘Hawaii Five-0’ season 6 end?
We’ve made it to the final day of April, and with that, we have today our final entry in our Finale Forecast series chronicling what we want to see happen in some of the finales that are taking place across the month.
Today, we’re glad to be discussing a show in “Hawaii Five-0” that we feel needs some sort of game change. We’re probably past the midway point of the show’s run now, so we have to start looking more towards where things could conclude.
What could happen – We do have the official synopses for the two-hour finale already, so in the event you haven’t seen those just yet, we’ve got them for you below.
Part One – “In order to stop a meth epidemic on the Island, McGarrett and Danny go undercover as pilots, but when McGarrett is seriously wounded, Danny is forced to break their cover in order to save his partner’s life.”
Part Two – “Trapped inside a dilapidated building in Oahu’s Chinatown, Five-0 must protect a wounded Gabriel (Christopher Sean) and plan their escape when enemy gunmen storm the building looking to kill him and anyone who gets in their way.”
What should happen – We know that these episodes sound fairly thrilling, but what we’d really like to see is the formation of a new Big Bad, someone who can do what Wo Fat once did and create some truly enormous problems for the team. We don’t necessarily like to see the team suffer, but at the same time a little bit of struggle can go a long way. Also, this is a show that could actually use a little more consistent romance, given what we’ve seen happen with Chin Ho this season, and also the lengthy back-and-forth with Steve and Catherine. We’re at the point now where a character or two should settle down. Even Kono, who got married, has still went through hell and back. Ultimately, what we’re saying here is that as we get closer to the finale, we’d love to see some higher highs, and maybe some lower lows mixed in there as well.
