Ratings: ‘The 100’ season 3, ‘The Catch’ rise as ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ falls, ‘Big Bang Theory’ wins

The 100 -

Even though May is not technically even here just yet, that is not stopping us from being in sweeps! We’re not entering the critical period of time for the vast majority of the television networks to deliver big stories, so with that in mind you can probably expect a lot of hype and some fun things to report over the coming weeks.

For now, though, let’s go ahead and get into something simple: Thursday night’s primetime ratings!

The good news – The biggest improvement of the night came to “The 100,” which surged up to score a 0.5 rating in the 18-49 demographic. This show does have a nasty habit of adjusting down sometimes in the final ratings, so don’t be surprised if that does happen here. Even if it does, the odds that it drops so far down that it is down versus last week are low.

Also posting improvements this week are “The Catch” (1.0), “Legends of Tomorrow” (0.7), “The Odd Couple” (1.8), and “Scandal” (1.6). Some of these shows are still on the bubble, and they need whatever they can to get that step towards renewal. (Meanwhile, “Scandal” and “Legends of Tomorrow” have already been renewed.) “The Big Bang theory” won the night with a 3.3, a tiny increase versus its most-recent episode.

The bad news – “Grey’s Anatomy” (1.9) and “Rush Hour” (0.9) were among the shows that received some declines, and the case of the latter is the most interesting to us given that it is at least matching for the most part what “Elementary” was getting in that timeslot. Yet, is it hurt that it is already getting these numbers in its first season?
