‘Grey’s Anatomy’ season 12, episode 22 preview: The battle between Callie, Arizona continues

Grey's AnatomyAs of late, “Grey’s Anatomy” has almost been like tactical warfare with Callie and Arizona at the center of it. Both of them want what they personally believe is best for their daughter, but here’s the issue: Those interests do not always align, and they certainly do not when you think about the former’s desire to go to New York. It’s a difficult situation, and one that is probably going to get worse before it gets better. This includes what could be coming up on next week’s all-new installment entitled “Mama Tried.”

The synopsis below gives you a little bit more information in regards to what to expect:

“Callie and Arizona are at odds over Sofia’s future, and Stephanie questions the status of her relationship with Kyle. Meanwhile, Alex and April work on a pregnant teen that is readmitted to Grey Sloan Memorial.”

Will this episode resolve anything? That’s certainly something that is hard to say for certain, though we do think that there will be some forward movement. There are only two more episodes left this season, and from there, the show will be on hiatus for many months until season 13 returns. Some of these stories could be left off until then, but we will just have to wait and see.

The promo for the next episode makes it really clear that the custody hearing for Callie and Arizona is going to be center stage for this episode, and as a result of that, let’s just say that we expect things to get emotional and then some.
