‘The Big Bang Theory’ season 9, episode 22 video: Bernadette and Sheldon bond

Thursday night’s new episode of “The Big Bang Theory” is a mere matter of hours away, and the storyline we are probably the most excited for is one that is all about unusual character pairings. Sheldon and Bernadette are two people who certainly know each other, but at the same exact time, they don’t really spend any time together on their own.

So when many of the other members of their group go off on a wine-tasting adventure together, these two are left to their own devices … and based on the sneak peek below, this could lead to some torment for Bernie. She has to figure out how in the world she is going to deal with some of his crazy ideas for “fun,” which include model train-building apparently and a study into the various ways in which people make toast. This is the subject of the sneak peek below, which we do think is worthy of at least a laugh or two.

As for whether or not we think anything major will come out of this, probably not other than Bernadette learning a thing or two more about patience. Sheldon’s basically the closest thing that she has encountered to a child in quite some time, so who knows? Maybe this counts in some sort of bizarre way as a form of training.
