‘Grey’s Anatomy’ season 12 spoilers: First look at ‘At Last,’ more Owen / Amelia story

Are Owen and Amelia going to finally give things a go on “Grey’s Anatomy” this season? Based on some of the early details that we’ve got for the upcoming May 12 episode entitled “At Last,” most signs seem to be pointing towards the answer being “yes.”

Now, let’s go ahead and share what evidence we have of this courtesy of the official ABC synopsis below:

“Owen and Amelia take their relationship to the next level; Alex gains some clarity on his future with Jo; and Callie and Arizona continue to struggle with the current custody arrangement.”

Let’s just hope that by the time we get to the end of this episode, there is clarity on all of the stories that are mentioned here. After all, who knows what in the world Shonda Rhimes will have plotted out for the finale? If there’s one thing that we have seen from her over the years, it is that she likes to do huge event episodes at this point that really stand out and often don’t even have time to continue other stories. Just look at “Flight,” the storm, the shooting, or many of the other disaster stories we’ve seen over the years.

Sure, there is already a season 13 coming up for the show, but we don’t expect to the show to be conservative at all leading up to that. This is a series that really likes to pride itself on being daring, and that is certainly a trend that we imagine will be continuing.
