‘Talking Dead’ spoilers: Lorenzo James Henrie, Chris Jericho, surprise cast member join Chris Hardwick

talkingTonight, “Fear the Walking Dead” has its largest challenge of the entire season, and the irony here is that we’re not even really discussing zombies or other characters within the show as its biggest threat. Instead, “Game of Thrones” over on HBO is poised to take the largest bite out of the series out of anything that we’ve seen so far, and in all honesty, can anyone really be that surprised? The only real “shocker” (if you even want to call it that) is the fact that AMC wanted to keep the schedule for this show as it is given precisely what the show is going to be up against.

There will be another “Talking Dead” episode following the installment (entitled “Ouroboros”), and the one good news about it is that there won’t be as much direct competition here from the AMC series. Joining host Chris Hardwick for the show will be Lorenzo James Henrie (who plays Chris on the show), a surprise cast member, and then also pro wrestler Chris Jericho.

Every week, the show has so far brought on one of the series regulars, and of course we see that continuing. We’ve already seen both Cliff Curtis and Kim Dickens stop by, and we figure that the show would promote Alycia Debnam-Carey in advance rather than have her be a “surprise” thanks to the actress’ popularity, in part from “The 100” to go along with this show.

When it comes to the whole “surprise cast member” promotion, we’re not exactly surprised that “Talking Dead” is still doing this even without the flagship show around. They’re trying to make a statement that this does not actually mean that a character is dying, so we wonder if tonight’s episode will continue that trend.
