‘Home Fires’ season 2, episode 4 preview: What’s next for Samantha Bond, cast?

Tonight on “Home Fires,” the ITV series certainly presented a lion’s share of revelations and character development. Specifically with the character of Frances, there was a shocking revelation when she learned that Peter’s mistress had actually given birth to a child. Meanwhile, for Pat, she had to contend with the fact that there was someone out there with the knowledge of what happened between her and Marek, and the danger that comes with Bob knowing.

Now, we’re left to see precisely what lies ahead over the rest of this contentious, story-laden season. Unfortunately, ITV has not released a synopsis for episode 4 just yet, so we’re going to have to be more reliant than usual on the network for some further details regarding what to expect.

Update: We’ve seen the previous now, and it definitely seems like there are some more secrets and double-dealings coming up. One of the most dramatic elements of the upcoming episode, though, could just be the big reveal that David’s return is not going to go precisely as many would hope. While he will be overjoyed to be home, at the same exact time there could be some metaphorical scars put upon him from his time in the fight.

One of the sadder things to think about is how far already we are into this season. There are only a handful of episodes left, which means in turn that ITV really is going to have to cram in as much material as possible into these final episodes.
