‘Fear the Walking Dead’ season 2, episode 2 video: Strand and Daniel have a chat

Through what we’ve seen so far of “Fear the Walking Dead” season, Victor Strand and Daniel Salazar may be the show’s most-interesting characters. With one of them, you have a super-wealthy man still shrouded in mystery, while with Daniel you’ve got quite possibly the man who has already changed the most since the arrival of walkers to the world. he’s incredibly fascinating, and he’s someone not afraid to ask tough questions. Our own enjoyment of him ahs increased exponentially since the beginning of the series.

In the sneak peek below, we feel like AMC has done a good job of really giving most of the people what they want: A lengthy sneak peek featuring these two characters front and center! Here, Daniel asks the questions many people who be afraid to given the situation aboard Strand’s boat. When you have someone who is effectively serving as a savior, it may be tough sometimes to ask many questions. Yet, simultaneously, it only makes sense to wonder for at least a second why someone is choosing to do the things that he is.

Yet, these are questions that Daniel asks here, and Strand is not entirely forthcoming when it comes to his responses. He probably at least sees in Daniel someone who could be a problem down the road, provided that some of his intentions are less-than-kind. If he really is out to simply help these people out, then maybe he shouldn’t mind so much … but why not just be a little more forthcoming in your answers then? It certainly seems like it would make life much easier for everyone involved.
