‘The Blacklist’ season 3 spoilers: The path to the funeral; also, Red in grieving
Are you still reeling from the events of Thursday night’s new episode of “The Blacklist”? We feel like anyone out there would understand if you were, mostly because we are coming off of one of the most emotional hours of TV that we’ve seen regardless of what show you are talking about.
While we could spend a lot of time in here talking about whether or not Elizabeth Keen is really dead (we feel like there’s a good chance that she is still out there somewhere alive), the reality is that for the characters on the NBC show, they do believe her to be dead and for the time being, that is really what matters more than anything else.
With that, get ready for an extremely emotional journey to unfold over the course of the next couple of weeks. Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, Amir Arison does a good job of charting out the overall story, what we’re going to know, and when we are going to know it:
“Episode 320 is where the Task Force deals with her death … In 319, the story focuses on Red and him dealing with his past, his history, and his grief. And then 320, we pick up and it’s about a week after her death, and we have a funeral to go to. Aram has written a quote down to try to give a speech, which he can barely do.”
