‘Legends of Tomorrow’ episode 11 preview: Exec on Jonah Hex’s arrival, mysterious connection

With Thursday night’s new episode of “Legends of Tomorrow” almost here, it’s obvious that there is quite a bit to look forward to this season.

For one, we’re heading to the Old West! As showrunner Phil Klemmer explains in the video below, there is a clear reason why our crew of Legends has opted to make the trip to this particular era over any other, and that is something that ties to their desire to stay hidden from the Time Masters. At this point, most of them realize that in some ways, they are surrounded. There are a crew of people within the Time Masters who want them gone over their meddling, and then of course there’s also Vandal Savage out there somewhere in the future. Given the multiple encounters that they’ve had with him over the years now, the man is well aware that they could be coming back whenever they do decide to do battle with him.

What also makes this particular era interesting is the presence of one notable DC Comics character in Jonah Hex, who is making his first appearance within the DC Universe on The CW this week. He’s someone who certainly comes across one way when meeting him, but there is definitely so much more here than first meets the eye. After all, he is someone who already knows Rip Hunter! Don’t you think that’ll be interesting to explore?
