‘Grey’s Anatomy’ season 12 spoilers: Jason George teases Ben – Bailey conflict

Ben -

Thursday night, we’re going to see an epic two-part event on “Grey’s Anatomy,” and it is one that is going to put the focus heavily on Jason George’s Ben as his actions are going to put a huge spotlight not just on him, but on his status at the hospital and maybe even his relationship with Bailey. They don’t have a normal relationship, especially when you remind yourself that she is technically his boss, and she has to remain objective even at times when it is difficult for him. These two episodes on Thursday are going to be one of those times.

The aftermath to some of Ben’s decisions is going to be clear almost right away, and this is something that Jason George himself teases more as a part of a new interview with TVLine:

“Ben is a surgical resident — he’s not even a full doctor. The question arises, ‘Did he make the right call?’ If he was a full doctor their might be less scrutiny. But the reality is that he’s still learning to be a surgeon, so everybody has an opinion about what Ben did. But, ultimately, it’s Bailey’s call as to whether or not she believes this surgical resident — who happens to be her husband — did the right thing or not. And needless to say it puts a little stress on the relationship.”

Hopefully, these two characters do find a way to separate their relationship from work enough to do the right thing; then, we hope that they are able to work everything out at home after the fact. We’ve seen enough breakups on this show over time that we need to see a win here and there.
