‘Rush Hour’ casts ‘Pretty Little Liars’ favorite Janel Parrish for guest spot
Even though “Pretty Little Liars” is a show that requires quite the hefty time commitment, it still thankfully seems like Janel Parrish got a chance to film something completely different over on CBS’ new version of “Rush Hour.”
Want to know a little more news about who she’s playing, and the episode itself? Then just check out what Justin Hires (James Carter) teased in a chat with TVLine:
“She plays someone who’s in Witness Protection, and we’re trying to keep her alive because some people are out to kill her. That’s a very exciting show.”
This should make for something that is certainly different from what we’ve seen Parrish in to date, mostly because on “PLL” her character of Mona is typically the person who makes people want to enter Witness Protection. She’s devious, works within the shadows, and probably has a whole lot of secrets thanks to that five-year time-jump. “Rush Hour” is a funnier, more high-octane show, and we’ll have to see what happens when she does turn up.
For now, our goal is just that people do continue to watch “Rush Hour” for a little while longer, as its ratings are already at the point where CBS could cancel it without too much fanfare. We’re going to have some other news all about the series as time goes on, so stick around! New episodes will continue to air Thursday nights at 10:00 p.m. Eastern time.
