‘Madam Secretary’ season 2 spoilers: Who needs a little therapy?

MadamThe closer and closer we get to the end of “Madam Secretary” this season, the more we realize that the state of events may end up taking their toll on Elizabeth McCord and her entire family. How could it not when you consider what they have been through this season? Henry has a new job that is occupying much of his time, and while the two may not have to keep as many secrets as they did earlier this season, they are probably under more stress than ever before.

Ultimately, what we have for you below are some of the first details on “Connection Lost,” the upcoming April 24 episode of the show that could feature Elizabeth and Henry going to therapy to potentially talk out some of what they are going through at present:

“When President Dalton gets word that the world’s most wanted terrorist, Jibral Disah, is hiding in Islamabad, he sends the “Murphy Station” – Henry, Jane (Jill Hennessy) and Jose (Carlos Gómez) – on a dangerous mission to eliminate the threat. Also, Elizabeth and Henry go to couples therapy, on MADAM SECRETARY,Sunday, April 24 (8:00–9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. Marsha Mason returns as Elizabeth’s therapist, Dr. Kinsey Sherman.”

Hopefully, the two will be able to remain on the same page, given that this is the second-to-last episode of the season, and there are few thoughts as depressing as these two having serious relationship troubles going into the big finale airing one week later on May 1.
