‘Big Brother Canada 4’ review: Was Mitch Moffit or Joel Lefevre eliminated?

Joel -Thursday night’s new episode of “Big Brother Canada” was a day of reckoning in so many ways. Were we going to be seeing Mitch sent home as a result of a really unfair twist? We felt for him all week; while he did have an opportunity to save himself from the Veto and with his campaign, we definitely had a feeling that he was facing an uphill battle.

From the start of this episode, though, we saw Mitch trying to fight … though his efforts were interrupted by some cheesy segments, including the complaint box twist and everything that came with it. Oddly, the show edited the whole Nick – Tim “up all night” segment in order to make it somewhat lovely, and about as scenic as you’re going to see in the “Big Brother Canada” house.

Major kudos to Mitch, who did fight his butt off at every single turn. Unfortunately, it was five votes to evict him, with Maddy, Nikki, and Ramsey being the sole supporters. We’re going to miss Mitch, especially since we consider him to be a really excellent player who just got dealt a bad hand. We hold true that next to Bruno’s eviction last year, this is the most-unfair twist in the history of the show.

The new Head of Household is??? Seriously, there was a cliffhanger on this, and that’s ridiculous since it was just “before or after,” one of the easiest games in history to play on an eviction show. We almost guarantee that not a single person would have not watched Sunday’s episode if they had just revealed it tonight. Grade: C, for this and the twist alone.
